Jiuer Meng was born in Urumqi, a city in the northwest of China with a middle Asian
Muslim influence. Currently, she is a senior student majoring in Illustration and
Animation at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. Meng has exhibited
her work at the Piano Gallery in Baltimore and the “Sweaty Eyeballs Animation
Festival” in Baltimore. Besides drawing, she enjoys reading, cooking, playing
badminton, building sculptures and Lego.
